Hands
A manicure keeps nails tidy and improves their appearance, the skin is cared for and high quality
products are used to promote strength and growth of the nails. A homecare plan may be recommended to
maintain and enhance the treatment at home.
All manicures at The Heaven Sent Day Spa are carried out using the ultimate market leading professional
range of products from OPI. Treatments take place using an infra red heated massage chair with relaxing
music via personal headphones and disposable eye patches if desired.

Question: Why should I take the time to have my nails professionally
manicured?
Answer: Beautiful, well-groomed nails are an important part of your overall
look. Attractive nails and hands enhance your appearance, whether you spend your days in a kitchen or
in a board room. The cost is quite reasonable, and the results are certainly well worth it.
Question: How long will a manicure last?
Answer: A basic manicure or pedicure will last one to two weeks, depending on
your lifestyle and the type of service you've had. If, for example, you work in the garden without
gloves, your manicure probably won't last long too long!
Question: Why do nails split or become yellow?
Answer: Nails can split for a number of reasons. Excessive exposure to the
elements or chemicals, poor diet, nail biting and other habits can be the cause.
Question: What are the rules regarding sanitation & disinfection of the
instruments used for salon nail care services?
Answer: All therapists thoroughly disinfect any implements and surfaces prior
to each client's appointment and furthermore, all suitable implements are autoclaved to 134 degrees.
Our therapists also practice a thorough hand sanitation regimen to prevent the spread of germs and
fungus.
It would be great if you could remove your nail varnish before you arrive but don't worry if you
can’t as your therapist can do this for you.
