Question: Are your footbaths cleaned?
Answer: Our footbaths are cleaned immediately prior to a client’s use with an
EPA approved germicide.
Question: How do you clean your tools?
Answer: All metal tools such as cuticle nippers and pushers, are autoclaved to
135 degrees. They are then sealed and used for a single client before being autoclaved once more. A new
nail file, beechwood stick and foot file are used for each client and either thrown away or given to
the client for home use.
- It would be great if you could remove your nail varnish before you arrive but don’t worry if
you can't as your therapist can do this for you.
- Please remember to bring along a pair of flipflops so that you can slip them on after your
treatment and avoid smudged nails!
To make the best of your newly pedicured feet, follow these simple guidelines:
- Wash feet daily and dry them thoroughly
- Let your feet breathe, and soak them regularly
- Wear cotton socks, and change them daily
- Do not wear tight fitting shoes, tights or socks
- Use foot cream daily to improve your circulation, and to keep your skin soft
- Use foot spray as and when to refresh your feet
- Use foot powder if your feet tend to sweat
- Use an oily non-acetone polish remover
- Use a base coat under polish, and a good quality top coat over polish to prevent chipping
- Cut/file nails straight across, and keep nails a sensible length
- Never use metal files
- Drink plenty of water and eat well
- Do simple foot exercise to keep joints supple
- Return to your pedicurist for regular, professional pedicures at least once a month, for
maintenance and further treatments
Choose between standard maintenance treatments or the luxurious ranges for a more pampering
experience.
