Eyes
We offer a range of eyelash and brow tinting, tidying and perming services that create just the right look to compliment and balance your facial features.
Important: A patch test is required at least 48 hours prior to treatment. The test involves putting a tiny amount of the mixed dye onto the skin, either on the inside of the elbow or out of sight behind the ear. This is to ensure that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients used in the products. If you have had a patch test at another salon you will still need a repeat test, as different brands may cause different reactions. Please call to arrange a patch test or why not have another treatment and have a test before you leave?

| If you want lovely, dark lashes first thing in the morning
and last thing at night, there’s a solution to looking your best at all times. With eyelash
tinting, you will always have dark, tantalizing eyes without ever using mascara
again. Eyelash tinting is a process where your eyelashes are dyed to make them look darker. Depending on your skin type and hair colour, you can achieve eyelash colours including black, blue, shades of brown, grey or whatever colour best fits your complexion. Eyelash tinting will benefit people that are sensitive to make-up, people who are active in sports (especially swimming) and people who have no time to apply make-up daily. This process is also ideal for people who wear contact lenses because they don't have to suffer putting on mascara any longer. The process involves a quick and non-surgical procedure using vegetable dye as tint. Compared to putting on mascara, the effects of eyelash tinting is very natural. For this reason, most salons and spas cannot lighten the colour of your natural eyelashes. |

| Having defined lashes will help you make the most of your
features. Eyelash perming is a gorgeous treatment to help emphasise your lashes, making
your eyes appear huge and enticing. Prior to your initial treatment or you have a history of eye disorders or allergies, your therapist may do a test first. The entire procedure generally takes around an hour, with results lasting between one and two months. The procedure involves a series of several meticulous steps: 1. One of four sizes of rubber rods is selected. The bigger the rod, the looser and less dramatic the curl. 2. Eye shields are applied beneath the eyes. Eyes are kept closed throughout the treatment. 3. The rod is placed on the base of the eyelid and the lashes are carefully manipulated until they are secured and curled over rod. 4. Gentle eyelash perming agent, often in gel form, is dabbed on lashes. 5. Lashes and rod are covered with plastic wrap for approximately 15-17 minutes. 6. Then a neutralizer is applied for another 15-17 minutes. 7. Followed by a conditioner for another few minutes. 8. Eye make up remover is swept over the rod and lashes to break up the glue. 9. The rod is removed. 10. The eyes are flushed out with distilled water. |

Common Questions and Answers
Question: Is eyelash tinting dangerous?
Answer: This is the most common question among patients interested in tinting their eyelashes. Since eyelashes are close to the eyes, it is important to ensure that every procedure done around the eyes are safe. Before any lash tinting procedure, you should attend a consultation with the therapist. At least two day before your eyelash tinting treatment, you need to undergo a patch test to ensure there are no allergic reactions or sensitivities to a product. Then, your therapist will recommend the best colour that could fit your skin type and hair colour to produce the best results.
Question: How long does eyelash tinting take?
Answer: A typical eyelash tinting takes around fifteen minutes. Because of this, tinting your eyelash can fit into busiest of schedules. Once you arrive at the salon, the therapist will place cotton under your closed eyes and then apply a small amount of vegetable dye onto your eyelashes. After ten minutes, the dye is removed with water. The results could last around four to six weeks.
Question: Is eyelash tinting painful?
Answer: The treatment should be painless, unless the dye gets into your eyes and causes slight stinging. However, eyelash tinting is not for everyone because some people can get easily irritated with colour additives or hair dye.
Question: What about home kits?
Answer: Home tinting kits should be avoided, unless you are a trained professional. This is because not only can the treatment be messy, it could also yield results that are not as effective as those done in the salons are. Eyelash tinting done by a professional can provide amazing and long lasting results.
